SvalMIZ-21: As part of the Nansen Legacy Process Cruise in 2021 we deployed 12 buoys east of the Svalbard Archipelago
SvalMIZ-24: A new buoy version with an additional four temperature sensors has been developed for this campaign. In total 34 of those OpenMetBuoys have been deployed north of the Svalbard Archipelago in April 2024.
SvalMIZ-25: In April/May 2025 21 buoys with air and snow/ice temperature sensors, as well as an infrared sensor has been deployed. The deployment has been along a transect into the Marginal Ice Zone north east of Svalbard.
ArctSum-25: We deployed 16 buoys along a section from North of Svalbard to (88N; 80E), in July and August 2025. These buoys collect wave observations, 1-meter, infrared surface, and sea-ice (16 sensors) temperatures.
